Important Notice
At the full Council meeting on Monday 5 December 2016, Fylde Council took the difficult decision to approve the introduction of a charge for collecting garden waste in the borough. Final details of the new service will be communicated to households early next year.
As with many other Local Authorities across the country, Fylde Council are no longer able to provide this non statutory service without introducing a charge.
The service will be entirely optional and any households choosing not to subscribe will have the opportunity to home compost via Lancashire County Council’s composting scheme, further information on how to get started can be found at www.getcomposting.com.
Alternatively, garden waste can be taken to the Household Waste Recycling Centre, Saltcotes Road, Lytham.
